Meet Sean Jacobs
Sean Jacobs is an American born soccer player whose primary position is midfield but can play other positions as needed. Sean played in the North Carolina vs South Carolina All Star game this summer. NC and SC are the only two states in the country that have an all star game with another state. Sean has played on a USL2, USL-A, DA, ECNL and ODP. He has trained with the UPSL team of Greensboro International and trained with D.C. United. He has also been a finalist in the 3v3 National Championship where he was awarded MVP. Sean was invited to train and play in Barcelona, Spain during the Summer of 2014. Sean is currently playing for Erskine College. Preciously he was dual rostered playing for NCFC's Academy and NCFC's ECNL NL team, where he led the team to the quarter finals of the Nationals and made All Conference. Prior to the ECNL season he was the starting midfielder as a senior for Wesleyan Christian Academy where he finished the season with a record of 16-3-1. For the second year in a row he was awarded, All-State, All-Region, All-Conference and Offensive MVP. This year he added All Mid-Atlantic and the WCA silver boot award. He was varsity for all four years and starter for three and was also awarded Player of the Year in 2023 helping his team reach the state championship game.

USL-Academy Cup 2023 U19 Champions
Sean was part of the U19 NC Fusion team that won the championship at the USL - Academy Cup 2023 in Tampa, Florida.
Off the Field
Off the field Sean has volunteered his time to helping others. He has volunteered with the Miracle League in High Point. He has volunteered and assisted in cleaning up his local YMCA. Sean is also an active volunteer at his school and church festivals and events. He volunteers in helping local soccer camps during the Summers. Sean is a leader on and off the field. He is committed to helping the youth at Wesleyan by guiding and coaching them during the school year with small-sided games and being a role model for younger students.
